Indapur: Dairy farmers in the state are in big financial trouble. It is the responsibility of the state government to help the distressed milk producers. Therefore, we will force the state government to pay Rs 30 per liter of milk, warned BJP leader and former co-operation minister Harshvardhan Patil in Indapur on Saturday.
In Indapur, under the leadership of Harshvardhan Patil, an agitation was organized by BJP and Mahayuti in front of the tehsil office gates. Tehsildar Sonali Metkari accepted the demand for milk price hike. On this occasion, turmeric milk was prepared on the stove against the backdrop of the corona and distributed to the people, police and journalists by Harshvardhan Patil. The remaining milk was also sent to the patients at Indapur Kovid Care Center without wasting it.
Harshvardhan Patil further said that former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnis and State President Chandrakant Patil have sent a letter to the Chief Minister demanding increase in milk price. Also on 21st July, statements were given on behalf of BJP Mahayuti in all tehsil offices in the state. However, the government has not yet announced the rate of Rs 30 per liter for milk. All milk from co-operative milk unions should be procured, additional milk powder should be prepared by the government The government has not taken a decision on these demands, the BJP's struggle will continue till the decision is taken, Patil has warned.

The people's representative of Indapur taluka has the post of Minister of Dairy Development, but apart from cooperating for the increase of milk in the taluka, on the contrary, efforts are being made to close down the Dudhganga Sahakari Dudh Sangh. There are reports from his department officials that he will remove encroachments in 19 villages in Indapur taluka, but the forest minister is not ready to talk about it. Power is temporary, it has to be exercised for the people. Those who pass on the edge should not chat about merit. Harshvardhan Patil remarked that the people will definitely give rest to those who have passed on the edge.

The number of corona patients in Indapur taluka has gone beyond 150, so the government should immediately set up covid care centers at four to five places in the taluka, provide adequate facilities to the patients in Indapur care center, I am constantly demanding. Minister of State has failed, so the people are scared, said Harshvardhan Patil.
In order to draw the attention of the government to the issue of milk producing farmers, BJP organized agitation in villages in Indapur taluka today. If the government does not increase the price, BJP will intensify the agitation and give justice to the milk producing farmers, explained Harshvardhan Patil.
Adv. Krishnaji Yadav, Mangesh Patil, Vilasrao Waghmode, Shivaji Makhare, Shakeel Sayyed, Harshvardhan Kamble expressed their views on this occasion.
